Used 2018 INFINITI QX80 for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2018 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 13.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 700 listings available, which suggests a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 INFINITI QX80 earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its ride quality, attractive design, and abundance of safety features, and they also value the luxury equipment it brings for the money. For you, that means this model makes the most sense if you want a full-size luxury SUV with a comfort-first personality and plenty of standard features. With 36.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on ride quality, design, and the kind of features buyers tend to keep appreciating over time. That said, you should still expect the usual used-luxury-SUV ownership risks, especially if maintenance history is incomplete or the vehicle has seen heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 INFINITI QX80?

At 65.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, signs of uneven wear, and whether the luxury and safety equipment works as expected. Because this is a large, feature-rich SUV, you’ll want to pay close attention to overall condition rather than just mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 INFINITI QX80?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 700 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.42% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,557, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $18,590 sits slightly below last year's $21,472.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more sensitive to condition, mileage, and maintenance records. If you buy well and keep the SUV in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. If you overpay now, the softer pricing trend could make it harder to recover that cost later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $20,556, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $18,590 average.
• It feels more lavish and pricier, with a more upscale presentation.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2018 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer-feeling, more lavish version, the 2019 is the better secondary path.
