How much does the 2018 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 6.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 653 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Generally — 4.47/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and owners consistently praise its performance, features, and handling. The review summary also points to strong power and acceleration, which fits the Q50’s appeal as a midsize premium sedan with a strong mix of power and value. At the same time, some owners note that it lacks modern technology features and that the ride could be more comfortable, so it makes the most sense if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan that still feels familiar and straightforward. With 29.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.47/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a car that owners enjoy for its performance and handling, and the positive feedback suggests many drivers feel confident living with it over time. The repeated praise for power, features, and overall satisfaction also supports the idea that this is a car people can count on for everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about enthusiasm and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and still feels tight and sorted.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

At 47.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of repair quality, and whether the car still feels consistent in daily driving, since those details matter more when a large portion of the market has accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 653 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.90% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,073, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $16,162 sits slightly below last year's $17,359.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that value retention looks more dependent on condition, mileage, and how well the car presents than on broad market momentum alone. A well-kept example should still attract interest, but you should expect buyers to be price conscious.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.47/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.47/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a sensible choice if you want a well-equipped luxury sedan with strong owner approval and a softer price than last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
