Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearDallas, TX

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 7.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,270 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you decide.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 4.91/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, comfort, safety features, and sporty performance, and many also like how it handles in challenging weather conditions. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a premium SUV with a conservative, family-focused character and a broad range of trims and drivetrains to choose from. With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful shopping opportunity.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people find dependable over time, especially when it comes to comfort, performance, and confidence in bad weather. That said, used buyers should still plan for careful maintenance checks so long-term ownership stays predictable.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

At 62.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on overall condition, since a luxury SUV like this can hide expensive issues if maintenance was skipped. Pay close attention to signs of wear, electrical behavior, and how the vehicle drives, because condition matters as much as mileage on a used premium SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,270 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,186, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $18,694 sits slightly below last year's $20,293.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the SUV more attractive to you as a buyer but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the best protection is to buy well, keep maintenance records, and choose a clean example with strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2017 is a smart choice if you want a luxury SUV with strong owner approval, broad equipment, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker alone.
