Used 2017 Lexus GS for Sale nearDayton, OH

How much does the 2017 Lexus GS cost?

Prices have softened 3.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 168 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you decide.

Is the 2017 Lexus GS a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

That kind of feedback suggests you may find a well-liked used sedan if you focus on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Lexus GS reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that usually means the bigger risk is less about broad ownership disappointment and more about finding a specific car that has been maintained well over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lexus GS?

At 51.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether prior damage was cosmetic or structural. Put inspection priority on body panels, alignment, paint consistency, and signs of uneven wear that could point to past repairs. A clean-looking car can still hide issues, so condition should matter as much as price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lexus GS?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 168 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,902, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lexus GS's resale value?

The current average of $23,162 sits slightly below last year's $23,989.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can improve your odds of holding value better than the average listing. Well-kept examples should remain more appealing than cars with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lexus GS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing, available inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2017 is a solid primary target. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep comparing listings closely and be ready to move on the cleanest, best-priced examples rather than stretching for a car with questionable history.
