Jaguar, after the X-Type between 2001 and 2008, had most shoppers looking in other directions. The 2017 XE is out to rebuild Jaguar’s image in this relatively inexpensive, highly competitive segment.

This car is stunning. It drives amazing on curvy roads. Has great pick up and go. Features inside the car are plentiful and easy to use. I would have loved to have remote start. It is the only thing missing.

The XE is the most fun car I have driven. Its acceleration is immediate. Zero to 60 in 5 secs. This coupled with a really comfortable ride makes it a very strong competitor with Audi, BMW etc. The styling is obviously super cool inside and out; trying to be an Austin, and gets close. Some will point out the smaller size and one can bang your head getting in. Niggles really and its as its a super comfortable sports car; very balanced. All this for a generally better price than the usual German suspects. I drive it just for the fun and comfort !
