That upward move suggests the truck has held value reasonably well in the near term. For a future seller, that kind of steady pricing can help support a more predictable resale outcome.

Should I buy a 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty Chassis or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.34% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2017 makes sense if you want a year with workable inventory, a decent share of deal-priced listings, and a price trend that still looks stable. If you’re more price-sensitive, it’s worth comparing nearby years to see whether a lower entry point or a cleaner-history listing gives you a better overall value.
