Used 2016 Porsche Panamera for Sale nearCumberland, MD

How much does the 2016 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have softened 3.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 199 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year.

The 2016 Panamera stands out because it marked the arrival of the second-generation car, bringing a more modern, minimalist interior and a design that looks much more like a Porsche. It keeps the model’s practical four-door layout and generous passenger space while pairing that with six- and eight-cylinder powertrains, an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, and rear-wheel drive on the entry model with all-wheel drive on the rest of the range.

That mix makes it a strong fit if you want a used luxury sedan that still feels performance-focused and usable every day. 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 Panamera’s appeal comes from its blend of performance, luxury, and everyday usability, and it comes well equipped with features like a panoramic roof, heated front seats, a reversing camera, leather upholstery, LED headlights, and smartphone integration. Its premium positioning and complex hardware mean upkeep can still be a meaningful part of ownership, especially as the car ages.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that repair and maintenance costs can be higher than average if the car has been neglected or heavily used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Porsche Panamera?

At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a Porsche-savvy mechanic, since premium cars can hide expensive issues that are not obvious on a test drive.

Focus closely on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and how the car drives under load, because a well-kept example is far more important than a low asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Porsche Panamera?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep bargain-bin pricing.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 199 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.02% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,275, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $25,577 sits slightly below last year's $26,373.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited unless you choose a particularly desirable, well-kept example. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter a lot, especially in a premium segment where buyers are selective.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $40,668, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $25,577 average.
• The second generation adds a more advanced, performance-focused redesign.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2016 is the smarter starting point because it offers strong satisfaction, a softer price trend, and enough inventory to shop selectively. If you’re willing to pay much more for the newer redesign, the 2017 is the path to consider; otherwise, the 2016 is the better choice for price-sensitive buyers who still want a premium Porsche sedan.
