Used 2016 Porsche Macan for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2016 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 13.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 733 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2016 Macan is aimed at you if you want a compact SUV that prioritizes driving enjoyment over pure practicality, with a smaller, more nimble feel than the Cayenne and a strong connection to Porsche’s sports-car character. It also gives you a choice of powertrains, from the base turbo four-cylinder to stronger V6 versions, while all models use all-wheel drive and a seven-speed PDK automatic transmission. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 Macan is described as having a strong reliability record, which is a meaningful plus if you want a premium used SUV that should hold up well with proper care. Its high-quality cabin and well-equipped nature also support the sense that this is a thoughtfully built vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained carefully, since condition can vary and higher-performance versions may have been driven harder.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Porsche Macan?

At 67.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a full vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on the suspension, brakes, and electronics, since those are the kinds of systems where condition matters most on a premium SUV.

Focus on overall wear and maintenance records as much as mileage, because the Macan’s appeal depends heavily on how well the individual vehicle has been cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 733 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,341, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $17,430 sits slightly below last year's $20,109.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that softer market when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2016 Macan is the right choice if you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and sporty character in this price band. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge.
