Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 10.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 812 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, style, high-quality fit and finish, and smooth handling, while also appreciating the updated features even in an older model. That makes it a strong fit if you want a premium SUV with a conservative, family-friendly character and practical everyday usability. With 36.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also describes it as reliable, dependable, and a safe choice, with comments that suggest it can be a vehicle you count on over time. That said, used buyers should still think carefully about maintenance history and condition, since long-term ownership risk can rise if a previous owner deferred repairs or if the vehicle has been heavily used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

At 63.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you commit. A pre-purchase inspection should get extra attention on the suspension, electronics, and overall mechanical condition, since those areas matter most in a luxury SUV. Focus on how well the vehicle has been maintained and whether any warning lights, unusual noises, or uneven wear suggest deferred care.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 812 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,162, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $16,162 sits slightly below last year's $18,129.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right number. For a seller, that means your best outcome will usually come from buying below market and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. A well-kept example with clean history should be easier to move than one with accident records or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2016 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should still compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
