Used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA cost?

Prices have softened 11.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 416 listings available, which gives you a useful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA a good car?

Yes — 5/5. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA stands out as a small luxury crossover that blends a sleek shape with premium-brand appeal, and it gives you a clear choice between the GLA 250 and the more powerful GLA 45 AMG. For you, that means the model can fit either an everyday luxury-crossover role or a more performance-focused one, depending on what you want from a compact premium vehicle. Its compact footprint and entry-level positioning also make it distinctive if you want a Mercedes crossover without moving up to a larger SUV. The market shows 35.6% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 model’s appeal is reinforced by its premium-brand positioning, standard 7-inch infotainment screen, keyless ignition, dual-zone climate control, and available all-wheel drive. It also added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which helps it feel more current for daily use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a compact luxury crossover can become expensive if prior maintenance was inconsistent or if wear items were neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of prior repair, and how well the cabin and cargo area have held up. Because the GLA is compact and style-driven, condition matters a lot: you want to pay close attention to trim wear, panel alignment, and any evidence that the car’s premium features have not been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop around but still room to find a strong deal.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 416 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,128, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $12,128 sits slightly below last year's $13,726.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. If you choose a well-kept example and avoid overpaying, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell. Demand should also be helped by the model’s premium badge and compact crossover format, especially for shoppers who want style over maximum utility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2016 is the primary year to target. If your top priority is stretching your budget, you can also compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the cleanest history and best condition at the lowest total cost.
