How much does the 2016 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have softened 3.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2016 Lexus NX a good car?

Generally — the 4.12/5 user rating points to solid owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, timeless look, and good fuel economy, which fit especially well if you want a stylish compact luxury crossover with a premium feel. The tradeoff is that some shoppers may find it a bit small, and the ride can be noisy. Even so, 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.12/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights reliability, with drivers specifically calling out dependable ownership and trouble-free day-to-day use. That reputation matters if you want a used luxury crossover you can count on over time, especially when you plan to keep it for the long haul. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s basic durability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by age or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Lexus NX?

At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body panels, alignment, tires, and signs of uneven wear. Because this model can be small and some examples may have been optioned differently, it also helps to focus on overall condition and equipment fit rather than just mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 609 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,856, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $18,300 sits slightly below last year's $18,973.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation matter more when the broader market has already moved lower.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.12/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.12/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $17,322, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $18,300 average.
• It emphasizes bold styling and fuel-efficient practicality.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, owner satisfaction, and shopping flexibility. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2015 is the better value play, especially if you find one in cleaner condition with the right equipment.
