Used 2016 Lexus GS for Sale nearSaint Petersburg, FL

How much does the 2016 Lexus GS cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 239 listings available, which gives you a moderate amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Lexus GS a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. That kind of feedback suggests you’re looking at a model year that has resonated well with drivers, especially if you value a premium sedan with a positive ownership experience. With 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Lexus GS reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that usually means lower perceived ownership risk, but you should still verify maintenance history and condition before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Lexus GS?

At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate you’re serious about and prioritize listings with clean records. A pre-purchase inspection is especially valuable here, since condition can vary widely even among similarly priced cars. Focus on bodywork, alignment, tire wear, and signs of inconsistent repairs so you can separate a clean example from one that needs extra attention.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Lexus GS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 239 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,529, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Lexus GS's resale value?

The current average of $21,262 sits slightly below last year's $21,309.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help future sellers because pricing pressure has not moved sharply in either direction. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you’re more likely to preserve value than if you overpay at the start. A steady market also makes it easier to estimate what your car may be worth when you’re ready to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Lexus GS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want a stable-price used luxury sedan with strong owner satisfaction and enough deal activity to shop carefully. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it also makes sense to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the cleanest history and best condition at the lowest out-the-door price.
