How much does the 2016 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 2.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 478 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise the smooth ride, comfort, and powerful performance, and they also like the luxury feel and features you get for the money. If you want a roomy, comfortable, rear-drive sedan with a traditional look and substantial driving feel, this model year fits that use case well. With 24.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as durable and dependable, and the feedback also points to a car you can count on for comfortable everyday use. The same owner comments that praise the ride and performance also suggest solid long-term appeal, even if some buyers note higher maintenance costs and minor quality issues. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying for deferred maintenance if the car was not cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chrysler 300?

At 54.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if the price looks unusually attractive. Put inspection priority on body condition, alignment, and any signs of prior repair work, then confirm that the car drives straight and feels tight over bumps. Because some owners mention minor quality issues, focus on overall condition and maintenance records as much as mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 478 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,208, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $12,413 sits slightly below last year's $12,768.

That softer pricing suggests the model is still accessible on the used market, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to move inventory. The current trend points to steady demand rather than sharp appreciation, so condition and maintenance history will matter a lot when you go to resell. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially if they present as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,856, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $12,413 average.
• It adds updated appearance packages and a faster Uconnect system.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2016 if you want the better value and a broader price cushion. If you can spend more for a fresher-feeling infotainment experience and updated styling touches, the 2017 is the better secondary path.
