How much does the 2015 Subaru WRX cost?

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Subaru WRX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its performance, power, and value, and many also like the way it handles in different conditions. The overview also fits that feedback: you get a rally-bred sport compact with standard all-wheel drive, everyday usability, and useful tech updates. If you want a performance-focused car that still works as a daily driver, this model year lines up well with that use case.

28.7% of listings are marked as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Subaru WRX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter to enthusiasts: strong performance, solid value, and confidence in a variety of conditions. That kind of praise suggests the WRX can be a car you count on if it has been maintained properly.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s appeal and more about how hard it may have been driven and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru WRX?

At 54.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize cars with clean records and consistent maintenance. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here, since condition can vary a lot from one WRX to another. Focus on signs of wear, accident repair quality, and whether the car has been modified or driven hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Subaru WRX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 342 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.74% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,240, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Subaru WRX's resale value?

The current average of $13,242 sits slightly below last year's $13,615.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on condition and mileage. If you keep the car clean, documented, and unmodified, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell. A well-kept WRX can stand out in a market where many examples have mixed histories.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Subaru WRX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,264, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,242 average.
• It adds a stronger performance-focused feel with a more confident, refined driving character.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2015 is the smarter starting point because pricing is softer and owner satisfaction is excellent. If you can spend more for a newer alternative, the 2016 is the secondary path to consider.
