How much does the 2015 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 7.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2015 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, especially towing capability and overall power, and they also highlight its dependable nature and useful range of features. In practical terms, the 2015 RAM 3500 makes the most sense if you want a heavy-duty truck that can handle serious work while still offering a more refined cabin than a basic workhorse. With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary points to a truck that owners describe as dependable and capable of handling heavy loads with confidence. That kind of feedback matters for used buyers because it suggests the truck can be a solid long-term ownership choice if you find one that has been maintained well. Even so, heavy-duty trucks can see hard use, so condition and service history should carry a lot of weight in your decision.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 RAM 3500?

At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the truck’s frame, suspension, brakes, and any signs of heavy-duty wear, since this model is often used for demanding work. You should also focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because a truck like this can vary a lot depending on how hard it was used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 360 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,858, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $30,902 sits slightly below last year's $33,406.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can work against a future seller if you buy at the wrong point in the range. On the other hand, it also means you may have a better entry price now than buyers did a year ago. If demand stays steady for well-kept heavy-duty trucks, a clean example with strong documentation should hold up better than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a softer price than it had a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented truck rather than the newest one you can afford.
