How much does the 2015 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 3.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,105 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Rogue options to compare.

Is the 2015 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — the 4.86/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 6.5/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, good fuel efficiency, spacious interior, smooth ride, and well-liked audio system. That lines up with the Rogue’s appeal as a practical, mainstream crossover with a more refined look and family-friendly usability. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want everyday comfort and easy living over excitement. 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there’s still room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. User feedback also points to a comfortable, easy-to-live-with crossover that many drivers feel good about owning over time.

The expert evaluation reinforces that sense of everyday dependability in the way it describes the Rogue as a competent, mature crossover that gets the job done. It also notes a smooth ride and a well-rounded ownership experience, even if the drivetrain is a weak point. If you’re shopping used, the main long-term ownership risk is that mechanical refinement and durability concerns may matter more as mileage climbs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Nissan Rogue?

At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with a lower price than the market average. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the drivetrain feels smooth under load, since the Rogue’s powertrain is a known concern. If you’re comparing multiple listings, the cleanest example with the best maintenance history is usually the safer buy.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S includes keyless entry, LED running lights, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a 5-inch display with rear-view camera, and a USB interface with auxiliary audio input. The SV adds alloy wheels, roof rails, a 6-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and NissanConnect, while the SL adds heated leather seats, heated mirrors, voice control, a power liftgate, a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, and an 8-speaker Bose stereo. The base trim is the one most likely to feel sparse if you want more convenience and tech.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a single 170-hp 4-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission, and you can choose front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The setup is described as underpowered and noisy, though fuel economy is a strength, especially in calmer driving.
• Safety package: The available safety suite adds blind-spot warning, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, and moving-object detection. It is tied to the Premium Package on SV and SL trims, so you’ll want to confirm whether a listing has it.
• Infotainment: Base models get a 5-inch display with a rear-view camera, Bluetooth, and auxiliary audio input. Higher trims add NissanConnect, and the SL brings a 7-inch touchscreen plus the Around View camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD setup is described as returning 25 mpg city/32 highway/28 combined.

Which 2015 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2015 Nissan Rogue is offered in 3 trim levels: S, SV, SL.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the value play if you want the Rogue’s core strengths at the lowest entry point. You get the rear-view camera, LED running lights, Bluetooth, and the basic cabin features, but it’s the trim most likely to leave you wanting more convenience equipment.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the features that make daily use easier, including dual-zone climate control, a power driver’s seat, roof rails, alloy wheels, and NissanConnect. If you want a more complete used Rogue without jumping to the top trim, this is the one to target.
• SL: This is the right choice if you want the most comfort and tech, including heated leather seats, the 7-inch touchscreen, navigation, the Bose audio system, and the power liftgate. It’s the most upscale version, but you should only pay up for it if those extras matter to you.

The safety package with blind-spot, lane-departure, forward-collision warning, and moving-object detection is available on SV and SL through the Premium Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have enough inventory to compare but still need to move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,482, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $9,482 sits slightly below last year's $9,805.

That softer pricing suggests the Rogue is in a buyer-friendly phase right now, which can work against future resale gains if you buy at the wrong price. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is to buy a clean, well-kept example with strong equipment and a documented history. The more you can avoid accident history and neglected maintenance, the better your odds of holding value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2015 Nissan Rogue earns an overall four-star rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in side crashes, four-star ratings in rollover, and three-star and two-star ratings in frontal crash tests for the driver and passenger, respectively.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The Rogue includes standard stability and traction control, 4-wheel disc brakes, a rear-view camera, hill-start assist, and airbags for the front, side, and curtain areas. If you choose AWD, you also get hill-descent control. The available Premium Package adds blind-spot warning, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, and moving-object detection, but the frontal crash results are the main caveat you should keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its polished redesign carryover, roomy cabin, and available third-row seating.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $8,760, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $9,482 average.
• It offers a practical, value-focused crossover with strong everyday usefulness.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping target, the 2015 is the stronger pick because it combines a lower current average price with solid owner satisfaction and a broad inventory pool. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2014 is the more budget-friendly alternative, especially if you can find one with a clean history and the equipment you want.
