How much does the 2015 Nissan Frontier cost?

Prices have softened 1.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 647 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Nissan Frontier a good car?

Generally — the 4.4/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers repeatedly praise its dependability, attractive design, and good fuel economy, and many also value its safety ratings and towing capacity. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a straightforward midsize pickup for daily use, outdoor activities, and general utility rather than a feature-heavy truck. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Nissan Frontier reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary emphasizes dependability, and drivers also describe it as a solid choice for daily use and outdoor activities. That kind of feedback suggests the Frontier can be a reassuring used-truck pick if you want something you can count on over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the truck’s basic toughness and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Nissan Frontier?

At 63.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, frame, and cargo-area condition, since a pickup’s usefulness depends heavily on how it was used. Focus on signs of wear that could point to heavy hauling, off-road use, or poor maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Frontier?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 647 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,454, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Frontier's resale value?

The current average of $13,957 sits slightly below last year's $14,215.

That softer pricing trend suggests the Frontier is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation than if you overpay near the top of the range. The truck’s practical reputation and steady demand among value-focused shoppers should help support future interest.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Frontier or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $13,246, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $13,957 average.
• It suits weekend use and off-road outings.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $15,125, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,957 average.
• It adds small updates while keeping the same familiar formula.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of value, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is spending less, the 2014 is the better budget path; if you want a slightly newer truck and can pay more, the 2016 is the alternative to compare.
