How much does the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class cost?

Prices have softened 8.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 858 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the luxurious features, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and they also highlight the high-quality interior and advanced technology. The overview fits that feedback well if you want a full-size luxury sedan that emphasizes comfort, innovation, and prestige. With 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive listing.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback describes the car as luxurious, smooth, and powerful, while also emphasizing the high-quality interior and advanced technology. That combination of praise, along with the model’s reputation for strong reliability relative to earlier S-Class generations, suggests you can feel good about ownership if you buy a well-kept example.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the car’s appeal and more about the cost of keeping a flagship luxury sedan in top condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

At 59.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, because a luxury sedan like this can be rewarding only if the maintenance history and cosmetic condition are both strong.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 858 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,417, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class's resale value?

The current average of $24,518 sits slightly below last year's $26,895.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a clean, well-documented example so you have the best chance of standing out later. Strong condition and a solid service history matter even more in a luxury sedan segment where buyers are picky.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want a flagship luxury sedan with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-car price than it had a year ago. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2015 stands out as a compelling buy when you can find a clean, well-maintained example at the right price.
