Used 2015 Lexus NX for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2015 Lexus NX cost?

Prices have softened 5.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 382 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Lexus NX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a daringly styled entrant into the compact luxury crossover field, and that distinctive design is a major part of its appeal if you want something more eye-catching than a conventional luxury crossover. It also brings practical strengths such as strong safety and fuel-efficient operation, but the trade-offs are real: the powertrain can feel balky and sluggish, and the center-stack controls are complicated and unintuitive.

The main compromises are the sluggish drivetrain response and the awkward, distracting interface, both of which can matter a lot in daily driving. Even so, the NX’s combination of style, efficiency, and premium-brand appeal makes it a reasonable fit if those strengths matter more to you than outright polish.

34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The NX is described as a Lexus model that has generally proven quite reliable, and its favorable depreciation outlook suggests it should hold value well over time. It also comes with free roadside assistance for the first few years of ownership, which adds some ownership reassurance.

Its premium fuel requirement and the fact that many desirable features are optional can raise running costs and make the ownership experience feel less straightforward than the badge suggests. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is ending up with a lightly equipped example that still carries premium-brand maintenance and fuel expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Lexus NX?

At 53.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle’s equipment and operation match the seller’s description. Because so many desirable features were optional, it also pays to confirm exactly which packages and safety items are present.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The F Sport Package adds unique 18-inch aluminum wheels with upgraded tires, a sport-tuned suspension, revised styling details inside and out, transmission paddle shifters, and performance-oriented gauges. It suits you if you want a firmer ride and a more connected feel, but the base setup is the better choice if you prefer a smoother, more relaxed crossover.
• Powertrain: The NX 200t uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 6-speed automatic, and the hybrid model is mentioned as a gas-electric alternative. The gas drivetrain can feel confused on downshifts and uneven under acceleration, so you should pay close attention to how smoothly it responds on a test drive.
• Safety package: Every version gets a rear-view camera, while Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers are available. Many of those features are optional, so verify what the specific vehicle actually has.
• Infotainment: The Navigation Package adds a navigation system, Lexus Enform smartphone connectivity and services, enhanced Bluetooth, advanced voice-command technology, and a remote touchpad controller. The interface can be frustrating to use, so make sure you’re comfortable with it before you commit.
• Fuel efficiency: The NX 200t returned a 22.3-mpg test average and was estimated at 24 mpg in combined driving. The premium fuel requirement also affects operating costs, so factor that into your budget.

Which 2015 Lexus NX trim should I buy?

The 2015 Lexus NX is offered in 2 trim levels: NX 200t and NX 300h.

Here's the short version:

• NX 200t: This is the main gas model, and it’s the one to focus on if you want the standard turbocharged setup. It gives you the core NX experience, but you should be selective about packages because many of the most useful features are optional.
• NX 300h: This is the hybrid choice, and it’s the better fit if efficiency matters most to you. The trade-off is that the hybrid powertrain carries a premium, so it makes the most sense if you plan to keep the vehicle long enough to benefit from the fuel savings.

The safety package is also important here because many driver-assistance features are not standard, so check each listing carefully before deciding.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lexus NX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best examples can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 382 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,283, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $17,492 sits slightly below last year's $18,493.

That softer pricing trend suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The NX’s premium-brand appeal and efficiency help support demand, but condition and equipment will matter a lot when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Lexus NX safe?

The 2015 Lexus NX earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus makes a rear-view camera standard on every version, and available safety equipment includes Lexus Enform Safety Connect, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, a pre-collision system with autonomous braking, parking-assist sensors, and rain-sensing wipers. The main caveat is that many of those features are optional, so a used example may not have the safety tech you expect unless you verify it carefully.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for its daring styling, strong safety reputation, and fuel-efficient operation, even though its powertrain and controls are less polished than you might want.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive-looking NX and you’re comfortable checking condition carefully, the 2015 can still make sense as a used buy. If you’re price-sensitive, focus on the best-maintained example you can find and be especially selective about equipment, because many of the most desirable features were optional.
