Used 2015 Jaguar XF for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

Is the 2015 Jaguar XF a good car?

Generally — you rate it 4/5, and the expert rating is 8.2/10. The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

The 2015 Jaguar XF is a stylish, luxurious midsize sedan that takes a different path from the usual BMW, Lexus, or Mercedes-Benz rivals. It delivers classic front-engine, rear-drive behavior even when equipped with all-wheel drive, and it offers a range of engines that includes a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. It also stands out for roomy accommodations, excellent road manners, and a sense of exclusivity.

That combination makes it appealing if you want a premium sedan with a more traditional performance feel and a stronger personality than many competitors. 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there’s still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Jaguar XF reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The XF is described as a surprising value with a lot of standard equipment, and the expert notes also point to a well-rounded driving experience with strong road manners and a rear-drive-based character. The performance writeup says the transmission is quick and smooth, and the car’s predictable chassis behavior helps it feel composed. The cost-effectiveness notes also mention that reliability with a complex and sophisticated performance sedan may offer a few surprises along the way.

For used buyers, that means the XF can make sense as a long-term ownership choice, but you should expect to be selective about condition and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Jaguar XF?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan with multiple engine and drivetrain combinations. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and whether the car has been maintained consistently. If you’re comparing examples, pay close attention to how the car was equipped and whether the features you want are present on the specific trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The XF’s styling is clean and distinctive inside and out, and XF Sport models have blacked-out trim in place of the normal chrome. The interior blends premium leather, wood veneers, aluminum trim, and a touchscreen interface, so base cars may feel less special if they lack the sport appearance details.
• Powertrain: The XF offers a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, and supercharged 5.0-liter V8 options. The rear-drive-based AWD system is rear-wheel-drive biased and can send power to the front wheels when needed.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes airbags, seatbelts with pretensioners, Emergency Brake Assist, Cornering Brake Control, and dynamic stability control. The car’s predictable chassis behavior is also highlighted as a safety advantage.
• Infotainment: The XF uses a touchscreen interface, but the system is slow to respond and can be confusing because functions like climate control are buried in menus.
• Fuel efficiency: The cost-effectiveness data cites about 19 mpg in mixed driving, with EPA estimates of 17/27 mpg city/highway.

Which 2015 Jaguar XF trim should I buy?

The 2015 Jaguar XF is offered in 1 trim level: XF 2.0T Premium.

Here's the short version:

The XF 2.0T Premium is the trim to focus on if you want the entry point into the XF lineup and the broadest value proposition. It starts at $50,175 and gives you the XF’s distinctive styling, premium cabin materials, and the model’s core luxury-sedan character without pushing you into the higher-priced performance variants.

The safety content notes that the car was not yet rated for crash safety by U.S. agencies or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, so you should pay close attention to the vehicle’s condition and history when shopping used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Jaguar XF?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and compare examples.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 81 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 75.3% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2015 Jaguar XF safe?

It’s difficult to get a definitive idea of how safe the XF will be in a collision.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The XF has not yet been rated for crash safety by U.S. agencies or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. In Europe, the Euro NCAP rated the 2010 and 2011 XF with 4 stars overall. Standard safety equipment includes airbags, seatbelts with pretensioners, a body structure that uses high-strength steel in key locations, Emergency Brake Assist, Cornering Brake Control, and dynamic stability control.

That means the XF gives you a solid set of active and passive safety features, but you should be aware that the lack of U.S. crash-test results is a meaningful caveat for used-car shoppers.
