How much does the 2015 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices are up 1.59% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 3,779 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Honda CR-V a good car?

Generally — 4.47/5 from owners and 8.5/10 from experts point to a well-liked used SUV. The CR-V’s appeal comes through in its roomy package, smooth ride, spacious trunk, and solid build quality, while the interior is often praised for comfort and features.

The model fits everyday buyers especially well because it blends practicality, reliability, and efficiency in a roomy package. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

With 31.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully and find value.

Is the 2015 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.47/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction. The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free reputation, with praise for solid build quality and the kind of long-term ownership confidence shoppers want in a used SUV.

The expert evaluation reinforces that theme by describing the CR-V as a vehicle with a strong reputation for reliability and by noting Honda’s quality and dependability standing. Honda also includes free roadside assistance for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles of ownership, which adds a small ownership perk.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that condition can vary widely, so a careful inspection matters even when the model’s reputation is strong.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda CR-V?

At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle’s features and safety systems work as expected. Because some owners mention vibrations and concerns about safety features, it’s smart to pay close attention to how the SUV drives and whether any warning systems behave properly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring trim adds a power rear liftgate, adaptive cruise control, a forward-collision mitigation system, a navigation system, and 18-inch aluminum wheels, while lower trims are more basic.
• Powertrain: The CR-V uses a direct-injected 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, and the setup is tuned for smooth, peppy performance with more torque than before.
• Safety package: Honda’s safety suite includes LaneWatch camera technology, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, and collision-mitigation braking, with some features reserved for higher trims.
• Infotainment: The system centers on a 7-inch touchscreen and includes Bluetooth audio streaming, text-messaging support, a USB port, an auxiliary input jack, and HondaLink smartphone integration.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review notes 24.8 mpg in mixed highway use and says that figure missed the EPA combined rating of 28 mpg.

Which 2015 Honda CR-V trim should I buy?

The 2015 Honda CR-V is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the CR-V, but it leaves out the richer equipment and advanced safety content found higher up.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more everyday convenience and feature content without jumping all the way to the top model.
• EX-L: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to pay for additional comfort and convenience equipment.
• Touring: This is the most fully equipped version, adding the most advanced features, including the power rear liftgate, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision mitigation, navigation, and 18-inch wheels.

The Touring trim is the one to target if you want the fullest safety and convenience package, while the EX is the value pick for most used buyers.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,779 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.59% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 58.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,537, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $14,517 sits slightly above last year's $14,290.

That upward move suggests the CR-V continues to hold buyer interest well, which is a good sign if you plan to resell later. The year’s pricing also shows that demand has stayed steady enough to keep values from slipping. For a future seller, that means a well-kept example should remain relatively easy to market compared with less in-demand used SUVs.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.47/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Honda CR-V safe?

The 2015 Honda CR-V earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in every assessment except rollover resistance and front passenger protection in a frontal-impact collision, where it earns four-star ratings.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda’s safety suite includes LaneWatch camera technology, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, and collision-mitigation braking. Some of the more advanced features are reserved for higher trims, and the expert review notes that LaneWatch and the lane-departure warning system can be frustrating to use.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.59% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.47/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Honda’s 2015 update brings a more modern feel, including a CVT, revised styling, and a new Touring trim with advanced features.

The bottom line: If you want a used CR-V that balances value, practicality, and a strong ownership reputation, the 2015 is an easy year to consider. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower-mileage or better-priced example gives you more value for the money.
