Used 2014 MINI Cooper for Sale nearMinneapolis, MN

How much does the 2014 MINI Cooper cost?

Prices have softened 5.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 507 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 MINI Cooper a good car?

Yes — the 2014 MINI Cooper earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the fun driving experience, solid feel, quick acceleration, and stylish design, while also noting value for money. For you, that means this model fits best if you want a small, premium-feeling car that prioritizes personality and driving enjoyment over maximum practicality. With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 MINI Cooper reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free experience for many drivers, with praise centered on the car’s solid feel and overall enjoyment. At the same time, some owners mention maintenance concerns, so used buyers should pay close attention to service records and ownership history. For long-term ownership, the biggest risk is buying a neglected example rather than a well-kept one.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 MINI Cooper?

At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has incomplete maintenance records or signs of deferred upkeep. Focus your evaluation on overall condition, service history, and evidence of careful ownership, since those factors matter more when you are shopping a compact premium car with mixed incident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 MINI Cooper?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 507 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,739, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 MINI Cooper's resale value?

The current average of $8,932 sits slightly below last year's $9,433.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means your upside may depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance history than on broad market appreciation. Well-kept examples should still attract attention because shoppers in this segment tend to value style and driving enjoyment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 MINI Cooper or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $9,691, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $8,932 average.
• It adds a 4-door variant for buyers who want more doors.

The bottom line: If you want the lower entry price and are willing to shop carefully, the 2014 is the better value play. If you can spend more and want the added-door option, the 2015 is the more flexible choice, though you should not expect it to solve every practicality concern.
