What is the 2014 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $14,919 sits slightly below last year's $15,801.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a lower cost, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and trim choice will matter a lot, since buyers tend to pay more for cleaner examples with stronger equipment. A well-kept truck should still hold appeal because demand remains broad for this model year.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $17,536, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $14,919 average.
• It adds aluminum body construction and turbocharged power.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2014 is the stronger starting point because pricing is softer and inventory is broad. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer-feeling truck with a more modern design direction, the 2015 is the better upgrade path.
