Is the 2014 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, power, and comfort, and many highlight the roomy interior as a major strength. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a full-size sedan with classic presence and broad everyday appeal. With 26.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to durable mechanicals, dependable performance, and a car that many drivers feel good about keeping for the long haul. That said, used-car reliability still depends heavily on maintenance history, so a well-kept example is the safer bet for long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Chrysler 300?

At 54.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of inconsistent wear, then make sure the car’s maintenance records support the mileage and asking price. If possible, focus on examples that show clean ownership history and consistent upkeep.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Chrysler 300?

If you find a listing below $10,010, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $10,177 sits slightly below last year's $10,320.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be steadier than sharply rising, so condition and maintenance will matter more than timing alone. A clean, well-kept example should still attract interest because shoppers continue to value the 300’s size, comfort, and upscale feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 26.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a smart pick if you want the Chrysler 300’s classic full-size sedan character at a relatively approachable used price, especially if you find a clean, well-maintained example. If you are more price-sensitive and willing to compare nearby years, you may find a better value in whichever model year offers the cleanest history and strongest deal among the listings you’re considering.
