Used 2014 Buick Enclave for Sale nearLake Charles, LA

How much does the 2014 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 9.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 499 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 7.17/10. The model scores 8/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, comfort, and overall driving experience, and they also value the features that make family travel easier. The Enclave’s roomy cabin and refined feel make it a fit if you want a three-row crossover that feels substantial without giving up everyday usability.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 29.1% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2014 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people found dependable and comfortable to live with over time, with praise centered on its family-friendly usefulness and overall driving experience. The expert review also says J.D. Power and Associates expected above-average dependability, and Consumer Reports recommended the Enclave while suggesting average reliability.

The same feedback also mentions concerns about hidden damage and some reliability issues, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Buick Enclave?

At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a thorough inspection of bodywork, repairs, and signs of past damage. Because some owner feedback mentions hidden damage and reliability concerns, condition should matter as much as price. If a listing looks unusually cheap, make sure the savings are real and not masking repair history.

Key things to evaluate:

The Premium is the best-value choice if you want the most complete feature set.
• Powertrain: The Enclave uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. EPA estimates are 17 mpg city, 24 highway, and 19 combined for front-wheel-drive models, and 16/22/18 for all-wheel-drive versions.

Leather models add a blind-spot monitor with cross-traffic alert, and the Premium adds lane-departure warning and forward-collision alert.
• Infotainment: The updated IntelliLink system uses a 6.5-inch touchscreen and includes rear charge-only USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition, text-to-voice functionality, and smartphone-based apps such as Pandora and Stitcher. A Wi-Fi Connectivity Package is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: Front-wheel-drive models are rated at 17 mpg city, 24 highway, and 19 combined, while all-wheel-drive models are rated at 16 mpg city, 22 highway, and 18 combined.

Which 2014 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2014 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Convenience, Leather, Premium.

Here's the short version:

• Convenience: This is the entry point, but it still gives you a strong list of standard equipment, including tri-zone climate control, remote start, a power liftgate, and 7-passenger seating. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Enclave without giving up the core family-hauling features.
• Leather: This trim adds heated front seats, driver memory settings, and 19-inch alloys, which makes it the best-value pick for many shoppers because it adds comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Premium: This is the most luxurious version, with heated and cooled front seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, adaptive headlights, and extra safety features. Choose it if you want the most upscale Enclave experience and the most advanced equipment.

Leather models add a blind-spot monitor with cross-traffic alert, and the Premium adds lane-departure warning and forward-collision alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever for a better moment.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 499 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,403, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $8,404 sits slightly below last year's $9,285.

That price movement suggests the Enclave has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help a future seller if you buy at the right price today. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid accident history, you may be better positioned than someone who buys at the top of the market and sells after another softening cycle. The current pricing also suggests there is still buyer interest, but not enough to push values back up quickly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Buick Enclave safe?

Should I buy a 2014 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

Choose the 2014 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.49% compared with last year.

• The expert summary says the Enclave continues to impress with its style, versatility, and value, even as the need for improvements grows more obvious.

The bottom line: The 2014 Enclave makes sense if you want a roomy, comfortable three-row crossover and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you’re price-sensitive, this year’s softer pricing and decent inventory make it worth considering now; if you want the newest possible updates, you may want to compare nearby years before deciding.
