I had received an email, talked via phone regarding the accident history on this particular vehicle and was on the phone assured the slight damage caused by the accident (a 74 year old lady who was used to a smaller vehicle had backed into a generator in the garage by mistake). The damage reported to me was the rear fender area which had I was assured been repaired. The listing as to the condition of this vehicle was not accurate. On site experience: I arrived at the designated hour to inspect this vehicle and was rushed by 3 sales personnel. It is a "great deal for $13K" said a salesperson with frizzy red hair. I walked around the vehicle only one (1) piece of metal on the vehicle did not have dent, broken trim , missing paint or a rust issue. It really looked like something off an auction lot. The interior was not detailed well and there was evidence they had pulled the dash ( foam was not concealed) there was also dirt on the console area. I mentioned I was not interested - but we had been expected to put deposit money down - so they encouraged a test drive with salesperson John. Upon driving this vehicle a parking error message appeared on the display - but I was driving forward at 40 mph on the roadway. Returning to the dealership I got out of the vehicle and said NO I am not buying this vehicle. I and my husband were edged toward Johns sales desk and I asked for them to refund the deposit. We were left there a good 10 min and the red frizzy haired salesperson who was so proud of this vehicle appeared asking "so, where are we" I restated "We are not buying this vehicle - it has been mis represented. He left again to get the refund started. Overall impressions: Not only were these folks bandits and attempting to bully me into a vehicle that should not have been shown other than an "As Is" vehicle, they were team-playing to intimidate and force a sale in my opinion. Stay away from this dealership especially if you are a female trying to buy a vehicle. A Waste of time and a waste of travel to this establishment. Shame on Casco Bay - Ford should really look into this dealership! "
