My experience with this car includes daily commuting (26 mi/day), numerous mid-range trips (150-200 miles) and a few long trips (>500 miles). It handles well, is pretty zippy (I have the 1.4L turbo with manual transmission), and gets great gas milage (around 35mph in town and 40mph on highway, depending on how hard I drive it). The car is a little choppy on rough road surfaces, and storage space is limited for luggage on long trips.....but overall, this is a great car.

The look and shape is what caught my attention in the showroom , the color is inferno orange , similar to or same as whats on the Camaro . The hidden rear outside door handles are cool . The interior is roomy and comfortable enough for my 6 foot frame . The 6 speed auto transmission coupled with the 1.8 litre DOHC engine make this car zippy enough for me . The only drawback is i'm only averaging about 27 mpg because I drive it like I do everything , right foot all the way up in it .I've turned mine into an SS , its the only one I know of since they don't exist anymore , all it took was 2 LS emblems and a little satin black paint on the rear bumper and the plainjane alloy 15 inch wheels ,I can't understand why the factory didn't do it .The road noise problem was also an easy fix , just a little strategicly placed Dyna Matt . Lastly I don't like the auto on traction control . I'd like to know if I can make it auto off , that is turn it on when you want it . Summed up I love the car.

I bought car used with 50k miles. It has had minor weird issues related to previous mechanics work. Replaced battery. Replaced a vent hose. Replaced a thermostat. Overall less than $600 repairs since purchasing. Great car. Reliable. Fits in tight places. When i take a corner at higher than the posted speed it doesnt handle as well as my bmw did nut thats logical. Proud to have an American made car from an American company.
