When I went to look at a used car from SoCal Automotors, I was told that they buy all of their cars from a major auto dealer (I’m not allowed to mention the name because my post will be removed if I do) and that the dealer they purchase from inspects the cars and takes care of any repairs that are needed. I asked for a list of the repairs that were done on the car that I was interested in and was told that because this dealership is a private company, they don’t provide that info. Well shame on me for believing them but shame on them for being deceptive. After I purchased the car I took it to a mechanic to look at it before driving it to Las Vegas and found that it needed over $800 in repairs. I called Mike about the repairs and was told that it must have been a misunderstanding because only the engine and transmission was inspected. I did not misunderstand, he lied to me. Also, after paying cash for the car and completing all the paperwork, I was told that it came with only one key so I had to spend another $200 to get a spare. After driving it to Las Vegas, I went to the DMV to have it transferred to my grandson who lives there. At the DMV I was told that some of the paperwork that I was given was not correct so I had to wait another day in Las Vegas to have them overnight me the correct paperwork. These guys are a typical example of why used car dealers get a bad name."

He gave me keys to a similar car that was parked nearby and I checked it out. It wasn't the car I wanted to see though. It was $500 more. I waited in a tiny office for about 30 minutes. I also wanted to trade on my current car and gave the registration to the man who took it to Ro. All this time, Ro was in his office talking to what appeared to be his buddy and never came out while I was there. After 20 to 30 minutes, I asked about the particular car I came to see and Ro told an employee "Uhhh, it's being detailed." About 10 minutes later, a lady walked by and I asked her if I should just leave or what? She asked Ro about the car again and he said "Uhhh, it's sold." She handed me back my registration and I left. Very strange business practices. Typical used car bait and switch salesman. "
