We really love the car. Maintenance is expensive - if you use the dealer. Parts can be also - but eBay. amazon and other sites have mitigated that. Runs about 17 miles to the gallon on average with about a 320 mile cruise range and when you burn premium - as this must - that is important. Drove it for 250 miles during snow/ice to get family to safe ground. Used the paddle shifters and had no problems maintaining control while others around us slipped and slid all over the place. Will probably get another one around 2025....'cause at this price it has to last a while!

Mercedes really showed the amount of effort they put into their vehicles with the GL450. The craftsmanship and style is incomparable to that of, say, Audi or BMW. The power is ridiculous and the off-roading is crazy! If you can get onto a highway with little to no traffic and put the pedal to the metal, you will be appalled (in a good way!) by the utter power and force of the car! You get thrown into your seat, but that only lasts a second, then you just fly! You feel like your driving a supercar, but then you realize that you are in one of seven smartly made, stylish, and comfortable seats, all perfectly cocooned in a beautiful and spacious luxury sports utility vehicle, and a Mercedes-Benz nonetheless!

This isn't your mom's family car. Mercedes puts plenty of sporty handling and power in this SUV. Plenty of leg room in the front two rows third row is a little tight for adults. Very stylish and very comfortable to ride or drive.
