I liked the gas mileage and comfort of this car. I only had to do maintenance on it, had no problems. This car is affordable and reliable and good quality. Looks sharp and has lots of trunk space. Great for first car or family car.

This is a great car for the money. Hyundai has made great strides since they first arrived in America. There's still a perception of low build quality, but having driven many cars at my old job (delivering automotive press cars for journalists to test and write about), I can personally attest to it's solidity. It may not get as much in terms of resale value, but the warranty can't be beat. The motor is peppy, especially with the 5-speed manual, as long as you keep in mind that it's a Hyundai, not a hot rod (though owners of the Genesis would surely protest that statement). It sips gas, so it scores strong on practicality. I'm not too wild about it's looks, but it's very roomy inside while compact on the outside. Lots of good amenities, no major problems to date. The steering is a little vague, but other than that, it has good pickup and decent brakes. It would benefit from better tires, but like I said, a solid commuter, not a sports sedan.
