Reviewed a 2008 Toyota X-Runner V6 on Aug 27, 2009

I bought my 2009 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner about two weeks ago and I love it! The ride is smooth, and the looks are great, a real head turner. The 6 speed transmission is smooth and very forgiving, I haven't driven a straight stick in awhile and was a little rough at shifting, no problem with the 6 speed. The acceleration is quick and the handling beats most sport cars I have diven in the past. I wanted a truck for hauling stuff when I need to and enjoy driving around town. This truck does both. The interior is refined but still get the feel of a truck. I think it is the best street truck on the market. You get the best of both worlds, trucking and touring. The gas mileage is not that good but mirrors other compact trucks. No regrets here!

great truck, fast nimble and easy on the eyes. not so good at hauling items but great at hauling ass. and paired with the 6psd manual its fun to drive. onlt had a couple of problems in my two years of owning but nothing too bad.

I've been leasing this truck on our employee lease program for just over a year and love it. I owned the same truck in the 2006 model year prior to this one, but sold it to get this one on our new lease deal. The truck is a lot of fun to drive, especially in the twisties!!! It could use a big break kit, supercharger, headers, and exhaust, but it's still fun the way it is.
