Performance is great when you consider that its a work car. Really gets up and goes, Feels like it and when you remove the top of the airbox it sounds like it too. braking power is great, sharp and pedal feel is great. Handling is pretty damn good for a van, it feels composed on the road and has minimal body roll due to tough as nails suspension. the steering feels weighty enough during high speeds and light enough for parking. turning circle is amazing for such a big car too. Build Quality is excellent and shows exactly where toyota has its mind. Its a great looking car and looks really sporty for a van, there are numerous aftermarket parts available for it to give it that extra spice. Economy is good for a big car gettin 600 and up kays off a tank of fuel which is 70L max. Yes its fun to drive, who would have thought aye and if your daring there is enough torque there to slip the car into a sideways battle of talents.

The new 3.0L now consumes as little fuel as my older 2.5 at 13km/L.. It's quiet when new, getting slightly noisier as it ages.. Its slightly more rattlely than say a Benz Vito.. Nevertheless its almost 'bomb proof'....perhaps reason for it being favoured by the militants you see on CNN.. It never dies, even after you have!. I've seen new Vito's with blown bulbs, but you almost never see Hiace's with electrical faults. The K200 comes with the air-filter stupidly fitted at the bottom. Easy to mantain, but my heart sinks everytime I ram a puddle during heavy down-pours.. Even so, it had never stalled on me.....even with my half expired battery:-)
