Overview
The 2006 Nissan 350Z saw a number of important changes in 2006, namely the inclusion of the larger engine in more models. Available in only a few trims the year before, the 300 horsepower engine was made available in all models with manual transmission for 2006. The front end was remodeled, 18-inch wheels were offered across the board, and brakes were improved. There are plenty of 2006 350Zs to choose from: Nissan offered eight different trims, which included five coupes and three convertibles. The Enthusiast was the best seller, and the Grand Touring was the most fully-loaded. Other offerings included the base model, the luxurious Touring, and the sporty Track. The manual transmission got the 3.5-liter, 300-horsepower V6, and the automatic got the old 287-horsepower engine. Drivers are very enthusiastic about the 2005 350Z, saying they like the car's handling, acceleration, and appearance. Some drivers feel the inside materials are of poor quality, and there are a few gripes about the size of the cupholders.

I have had no maintenance issues with my Z. It's a great car that is easy to drive, even in heavy traffic. For a 2-seat coupe, it is very roomy. The hatchback trunk allows for a great deal of storage. The rear strut takes up some of this space, but it is not difficult to pack around it. That's the price you pay for structural rigidity...

This is a phenomenal looking car that is much more comfortable than one would think. Of course it handles amazingly and has plenty of power, but it has been my daily driver for the past 6 years and I have never regretted that for a minute. Anyone who has ever driven one will tell you that it handles like a scalpel. I would take a Z car over any other Japanese sports car in it's class.

Great car, very fast. Aftermarket exhaust and cold air intake. No repairs needed except a rear bumper when I was rear-ended. Not the best mileage, about 21 mpg when I drive for gas mileage, about 18 when I don't. Very fun to drive.

I love the rush I get every time I drive this car. I have never lost a street race because this car has amazing stability, performance & balance. I can honestly say I've never broken down with this car in the 4 years I've owned it. I would definitely recommend buying a Z if you had the money for it. They are dependable cars but I'd recommend you buy it as a secondary car just for summer. It's RWD so it's terrible in the winter.
