Just like the other Rams, the Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 got a new Mega Cab that extends the cabin by 20 inches. In addition, the pickup got some interior and exterior styling as well as an optional navigation system and DVD system. With a 5.7-liter, 345-hp V8 engine and 20 trims, you've got a lot of options with a lot of power.
This one ton pickup comes in 2-door/3-seat and 4-door/6-seat configurations. The Ram 3500 also has the highest maximum towing capacity of all the Rams with numbers that approach 16,000 pounds across all trims. Finally, the Mega Cab has 142.2 cubic feet of passenger space.
Overall, the Dodge Ram Pickup 3500's biggest selling points come from its powerful V8, high towing capacity, good passenger space in the Mega Cab, and smooth ride. However, as with the other Rams, the back seat can get a bit cramped. Despite any shortcomings, the 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 does pretty much everything you'd expect from a top domestic pickup truck.

This truck is a real performer, regardless of the task I have put it to since purchasing it new in 2006. I have always been able to rely on it in all weather and work conditions. It's hard to beat a Cummins engine!

Great fuel mileage, hauls just about anything, and safe! Roomy, solidly built, great performance. I don't know why I waited so long to buy a diesel! I enjoy driving this truck - a lot! It has the power and versatility I need!

Bulletproof 5.9 cummins. Easily upgradable transmissions to hold power adders. Great truck for towing.

Great puller!! Reliable engine!! All the power you need. Automatics are a little weak, but the manuals are great.
