About 2006 Dodge RAM 2500
Overview

The 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 got some new exterior styling and added the Mega Cab, which adds 20 inches to an already roomy pickup. New optional features include power sunroof and DVD system. This respected domestic pickup has 22 trims and sports a 5.7 L, 345 hp V8 powertrain.
All trims have either a 2 door, 3 seat or 4 door, 6 seat configuration. The Ram Pickup 2500 represents a definite upgrade over the Ram 1500 in the towing department, with max towing capacity generally ranging from 12000 to 14000 lbs. depending on the trim. The Mega Cab gives you 142.2 cubic feet of passenger space.
Overall, the 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 gets props for its roomy interior, responsive steering, and good power in its V8. On the other hand, the rear seat could use a little extra room. Despite its shortcomings, the '06 Ram 2500 maintains its solid reputation as a passenger vehicle that also does the dirty work.

This dodge was a little rougher than the photos show. It has hail damage and scratches that aren’t shown in pictures. I also noticed a whinny noise which i couldn't pinpoint if it was from the engine or transmission.

This was the last year Mercedes was involved in the big Ram truck development. 2006-2007.5 trucks have much better materials on their interiors, great manual transmissions, paint also better HP and torque we’re up as well as towing capacity. Cummings 24 valve 5.9 diesel is awesome and is exempt from any of the later years smog controls and Def.
