When i first stepped into the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, i kind of got the ho-hum feel after having driven the Continental GT. But once i got it out on the open road, i was absolutely astounded! This is a 4 door, 5,500 lb car, and it was effortlessly "flying" down the road! I see where the name came from! I never expected the performance this beautiful vehicle has. Without breaking a sweat, in about 8 second, from a dead stop, i found myself racing at a 100 mph and didnt even know it. The luxurios interior felt as if i was in a super strecth limo traveling down the park way at 25 mph. And by the time i realized i was going 100 mph, i was going 140, 150, 160, 170, and just as i ran out of road, i found myself at 180 miles per hour!!! This from a two and a half ton bentley luxury vehicle. im simpley AMAZED!

These are great cars. Solid as a rock and run like a bat out of hell. Yes they cost more to maintain and dont get very good gas mileage. And insurance is expensive. I owned one for eight years and am looking for another.
