(10 reviews)This was the first 12 cylinder car to ever call our garage home. Performance wise to was an all out powerhouse. With 604 horsepower and 738 ft-lbs this AMG was an absolute sleeper. To the average person it looked like any other mercedes which is kind of a pain considering its near 200k price tag.
We purchased a CL600 , its a V-12 twin turbo model, The car rides great & is fully loaded but it doesnt have the off the line snap that our previous CL 500 had. Once it gets moving though it will cruise high speeds all day long . They are quite rare , you dont see many of them. I believe we got a good deal on the price also.
I know that the tv commerical that asks the questions.."When you turn your car on, does it turn you on?" This Car will Turn You On! The exterior is beautiful, I like this model much more than the new body. THE INTERIOR has a suede ceiling, soft leather a/c and heat seats, and the driver seats give you a massage..no kidding.
The best of the best. The CL65 offers it all.
I have already reported on this CL 65 located at a dealer in Phoenix Az. Not sure why you asked me a second time but some of the things I forgot to say is that it needs work on the hydraulics, body work, tires are very wide past fender well but in good shape, It was bought with racing in mind --- it has almost NO extras, to add weight. in addition is thas a power leak so the battery is flat in 2 days, It did not come with Keyless go, seat massagers, (does have heated and cooled seats however)_ has add on speed equipment and so there is no engine cover (very expensive). I was able to stand on it twice and both times the tires let loose for about 20 feet after the trubos kicked in but did not smoke the timres (which are extra wide) The tires stick out under the wheel well and so with a malfunctioning body control the body bounces off the tires and it needs body work in that area. Affordable enough for the car but you will be in for a surprise when you try to buy the parts to fix it as they are very expensive.... I offered $10,000 but he would not take it..... says he paid $17,000 so stuborness has had him keep the car on his lot over 10 months.
