The only notable change for the Chevy Silverado 1500 SS pickup truck came in the form of an optional sunroof. Otherwise, the respected domestic pickup enters 2005 relatively intact. The truck comes in RWD and AWD trims. Both trims have a 6.0 L, 345 hp V8 engine. Gas mileage comes out to around 14 mpg in the city and 19 on the highway on average. Both trims have 4 doors, seat 6, and tow between 7000 and 8000 lbs. Overall, drivers like the sporty pickup's solid towing capacity and performance. On the other hand, critics will forever sell the Silverado 1500 SS short when compared with the Ram SRT-10. For those who can settle for second best, the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 SS makes a pretty good consolation prize.

Features look great! It is in good value. I dont think its missing anything. I would compare it to the Ford Lightning.

This truck is driven hard daily . The acceleration is great the handling is fantastic and the braking is strong. If you ever get a chance to test this truck don't pass up the opportunity.It has a luxurious interior with all the toys standard .I've owned mine for seven years and it turns heads all day long .

Quality built, performance mods done right, but since the Regency factory went out of business it is really hard to find original parts. Truck is still worth $20k+ though, so no complaints! It is definitely one of a kind, if you find one, grab it.
