All trims come with six airbags, ABS brakes, full power features, foglights, cruise control, a rear window wiper, leather trim, and keyless entry. A sunroof, memory settings, navigation system, adjustable pedals, and leather seats are optional.

A rear and chin spoiler help improve overall dynamics of the 2004 Murano, and drivers do feel it handles more like a car than a bulky SUV, without sacrificing the ride height and cargo capacity. The rear seats easily fold flat for 82 cubic feet of storage space, and a cargo net and cover are available. Another nice feature is a lockable center console. Other highlights for owners include the all-wheel drive, the safety features, good acceleration with the V6, the generous amount of space, and the comfortable seats. Rear visibility is limited with the seats up (due to the headrests and thick D pillar), gas mileage is less than reported, towing is limited to 3500 pounds, and the stiffer suspension means you're in for a bumpy ride.
