(10 reviews)the BMW 325 XI is an amazing car. The sound of the exhaust as you accelerate to a quick 60 in 7.8 seconds with stiff breaking. When it does need repairs it is rather expensive but still worth it. Gas mileage is a pain, but everything else about the car makes up for it. I love driving this car, you would to if you tried cornering with it.
I love the heated seats for winter time & all wheel drive is a bonus when driving in the snow. Sun/moon roof for the best weather options. The feel & look of the car are very comfortable & sleek. There is a large trunk to hold lots of luggage & supplies from shopping.
This car gets an overall "A" from me. This is my husband's and mine 2nd BMW of the 3 series and after driving this make and model I think we will stick with this series. This is a great overall vehicle: good looking, safe, reliable and a great driving machine. For such a small, sleek car, it can fit a lot of things thanks to the back seats that fold down. I think it's worth the cost and a slightly higher maintenance because overall it's similar in cost to other cars in it's class.
Amazing cornering, braking, but the power is lacking and you can tell when exiting a tight turn.
I have owned Acuras and Audis in the past both of which I loved for different reasons but when I drove this used 2002 BMW 325Xi, I fell in love. She was beautiful! Arctic White with black leather interior and every option available. At 139,000 miles and a price tag of about $8000, the money was right but the miles were a little scary. I bought the car from a friend who owns a used car lot and although he assured me that it was a good car, he sold me an extended warranty at his cost to make sure I was covered. I drive about 40,000 miles a year. At 194,000 miles my car had catastrophic engine failure. The warranty company replaced the engine with a used one at a cost of $5700. I paid the $100 deductible. This car is an absolute blast to drive, when it is actually drivable. Before the engine failure I was going to trade the car in on an Audi A4 but now I will probably keep it just because it's so much fun to drive. I doubt very seriously that this car will be my everyday driver again but I certainly look forward to weekends ripping through the twisty country roads out where I live.
