Reviewed a 2001 Rolls-Royce Turbo Convertible on May 16, 2007
One of our good customers brought in his newly acquired 1976 Rolls Royce Corniche . Originally from Florida , it made its way to Quebec,Canada and then here to Manitoba . The vehicle is well maintained and has low mileage . Contrary to popular belief , these cars can be bought at fairly reasonable prices , as they loose their value quickly. To ensure the vehicle was reliable , Rolls Royce uses a Turbo 400 transmission ( from GM) these trannys are built to last and to put up with allot of abuse . The engine is a large displacement and is very thirsty , but , it delivers good power to get this large car going . Being a convertible , the car gets allot of looks and always gathers a crowd when it is parked . If you enjoy a classic British car , and don't mind "tinkering" with it ( the wiring can be quite a mess to deal with ) it makes a good weekend cruiser .

the car has a 6.8 L engine, the quality is amazing, the performance could be a little better, the cost is pretty high because of its size, yes the car is fun to drive that is if you have the money.
