Third gen eclipse is solid, well built, and has more than enough power stock to get you running off the line. Aftermarket support is pretty good, still a few pieces lacking, needs definite attention to detail. Most parts need to be fabricated, and the steering is a little loose. The sporttronic transmission is a breeze, and it's just a fun ride. Not a hardcore following, but then, being original is the key.

It is a I4 so its slow and dosnt have a lot of get up and go. It handles alright could use some suspension upgrades. It is decently fun to drive it is manual so it feels good to keep the revs up around a corner. Hasn't needed to many repairs so far. I like the styling, my model came with a small spoiler which I know does nothing for performance but it actually does make the car look better. Good gas milage and not a lot of maintenance.
