Overview
Aside from a couple minor additions, the 2001 Acura TL remains unchanged from the previous model year. This model comes in two trims: the 3.2 TL and 3.2 TL with navigation. Both trims use a 3.2 L, 225 hp V6 engine with 5 speed automatic transmission.
As for fuel consumption, expect to get 19 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. The 2001 TL has 4 doors, seats 5, and offers standard sunroof, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power/leather seats, cassette player, cd player, ABS brakes, and traction control.
Overall, drivers like the capable engine and relatively low price. Others might say the 'TL' in the 2001 Acura TL stands for too little. They would appreciate better interior materials and handling. In any event, if you need more power from your TL, look for a model from 2002 or later.

I loved almost everything about this car. The only thing that I did not like was that there was not a six 6 cd changer or a premium sound system. I wish that I still had the car because I love the way it felt when you drove it. It was a sedan, but it almost felt like driving a sports car.

High quality car. From the time u open the door till u sit on the seat feel luxury. The seats are really comfortable, high build quality. Performance is fine too, as this is a 3.2 car. The suspension is well made with a soft, stable feel. Handling and braking also response well.Overall, a very solid and enjoyable car!

It is a good car. However, the miles are too high.

Transmission is known for failures, but other than that, this car is great, it has almost everything you could want in the interior, although the rear view mirror is kinda funky, it looks good from the outside, bought it cheap and it almost seems like it should've cost more, accelerates great, probably hit 100 in less than half a mile or so, really fun car, gets 19 to 29 MPG and even though it wants premium, you can use regular
