We drove our 2000 Ody for 8 years, put almost 200k on her before deciding it was just time to replace it....with another Odyssey! Worth dealing with the transmission issue. Make sure you find a transmission shop that will TOTALLY rebuild your transmission, not just tweak it. Drain and fill tranny fluid at regular intervals, and your Ody will love you back.
