In 1999 Car and Driver said this is the fastest sedan ever to drive the face of the earth. It looks elegant and nobody expects it to have the massive power that it does. It is faster than a corvette and does it while hauling 5 passengers! Last car AMG built before being purchased by Daimler! Now AMG makes cosmetics and sport packages this was a the last of the true AMGs! This is classified as a SuperCar like a Ferrari or a Porsche would be. Truly amazing power and handling from a naturally aspirated engine!

The best car I have ever owned, eats almost anything off the road.. I should never have let it go! It is an expensive car to run but not bad when you consider the power, it will get 25 mpg on long runs and otherwise is quite cheap to run. It really is such fun to drive especially when you beat little punks in their Subaru's etc.

Snug, tapered and powerful, ready to adapt to whatever environment that is thrown at this amazing and yet refined automobile. Nothing more needs to be said.....just drive one and BMW will be a distant memory.

The car is fun to drive, it is very powerful even though it is old, the appearance needs alot of work but once it is fixed it looks ok not good not bad, the build quality well its a mercedes so i give it 5 star for sure
