Used 1999 Jeep Cherokee for Sale near New Jersey

A great truck to own. Economical for it's size. It could do with a bit more power. Excellent off road performance. Superb tow vehicle. Very stable pulling 2 tons. Great for rescuing other lesser cars. Comfortable to drive. Not fast but it accelerates well.

Great car, VERY reliable, tough off-road. Gorgeous if you love a boxy looking older SUV. Never had anything huge go wrong with it.

The Cherokee remained virtually unchanged from 1984-2001, and there is a good reason for that: it was the perfect mix of size, weight, and style to last through the ages. Plenty of power, great handling, superior off-road performance, and the best value out there. It is cheap and easy to maintain, and I have never been stranded by this or my previous Cherokee. The only reason I replaced my '95 with this one was a head-on collision with a Buick a few years back. With a combined speed of 70+mph, I walked away and replaced with the same car because it was the total package, and I was blown away by the safety for such a lightweight SUV. Best car I have ever owned/driven.

amazing ride i absolutely love it and plan on getting another jeep in the future. amazing gearing ratio for low end power to really tow stuff. really fun for off roading and the inline six cylinder is my favorite for sure

Great vehicle! I have only had one thing go wrong with it in the six years I've owned it. I use it for my family as well all pulling my 17 ft boat but I did have to add heavy duty rear springs. If I were to change anything, I'd lift it and put a small block V8 in it.
