(3 reviews)The Infiniti I30 is a solidly build 4 door saloon. While a generation or two behind it is more than enough for a beginner who wants power on tap as well as the versatility for uses other than going quite fast. Being a luxury model it feels rather disconnected in terms of steering feedback but also provides comfort to long drives on the road. The cost of owning the I30 is rather minimal due to it's build quality and really only requires regular maintenance. Overall it ranks high in my opinion of a sedan.
It's gift is it's subtlety, very smooth appearance very easy to maintain. It performs as well as it can with front wheel drive setup. Very cheap to own. A lot of fun speeding! The 5 speed is the better option if you can find one. They are very rare but I've had good luck with mine so far.
Ehh. It was a really nice car but the style aged so fast. I bought it actually with only 11K on it (see 99 Jeep why/how I ended up with this car) but was 2 years old I think. It looked like an older 6, 7, 8 year car referring to its styling. So I felt. Not condition, the thing was like it just came out of the showroom. I wanted something else, my sis wanted a new car after she had her 1st kid, perfect. So we thought. Hitch falls off a truck on the LIE hits the Infiniti then bounces and hits like 7 other cars. The SUVs drove away but there was 5 cars on the side of the road with random damage. The infiniti is in the front with a big hole in the floorboard, gas all over the LIE the tank burst, they were lucky the thing didn't blow up. Afterwards I found out even though it was a pretty new car the entire bottom was rusted. I looked a little more into its history, an old couple upstate owned it. Hence the 11k miles on it. So yeah in short basically it probably sat there parked all winter in the snow and rusted out the bottom. Oh yeah the tranny fell out too. Whatever. It did drive really good, fast, nice interior as in design, options, etc. That BOSE system was great. Ehh. Nothing special.
