The body holds up But little things start going wrong after 135xxx miles. But overall a great lil car that get GREAT mpg Wich is a + for everybody these days. I Have to say i love driving it. Very small.

Well since it is a 1997 and it has around one-hundred thousand miles on it the brakes are a little worn and the gas pedal is a little sticky. But other than that this car is really nice on gas and is reliable.

I got this car in great condition for a 97. If I had bought it brand new, it would have been one of the more luxurious cars on the market. Being a mercury (performance Fords) it fairs well with gas miliage, very few engine problems, and more competitive than is sister the Escort. Again had I bought the car new I could have put work into the engine and body, and it woud've been a very appealing car to drive. Though, it's body style is dull with a funky rear end, I still love how it zips around!

i cant belive it still runs, got a jaguar symbol instead of the merc on the trunk
