The corona premio (1996) is a strong built car with good accelaration with the help of turbo. Braking is enhabced with ABS system and the handling is top notch. The engine needs a total repair after around 5 years and is a bit questionable. The appeareance is not eye candy yet looks like a european sedan built for luxury. It sure got a lot of legspace and is comfy. For a litre pf diesel it runs approx 8 kilomteres and well it is a joy to ride!

I bought it used two years ago, and so far the only problem it has shown is a leak in the steering system, in the rack and pinion assembly which is extremely expensive to fix in my country, so I just drive around with a can of fluid in the car. I drive it on rough roads, (some dirt roads in my country), and I had to replace both lower arms of the front wheel assembly, All in all I like the car, I'm planning in trading it in for a newer car, but I still like it.

2.5L inline 6 with 4 speed auto. good performance and reasonable fuel economy except on short trips. Body and engine are typical of Toyota's solid quality. Multi link independent rear suspension provides excellent handling and comfort. ABS brakes are adequate for street use.
