My favorite option is that it is 5-speed manual - they're getting so hard to find these days. Parts and maintenance for this car are one of the lowest you can find. The torque is still on point and can keep up with most 6 cylinder cars. Steering is still tight and responds beautifully. I was able to go on a tank of gas for two weeks - major money savings these days. The bass from the system provides a nice massage after a stressful day.

Great mileage, very reliable, fun to drive and suprisingly versatile. I can haul almost anything in that hatchback -- including 10 foot 2x4's! I can even sleep in the back with the hatch up!

I bought it with 101k for $5000 (I had a friend at a dealership). I had it all 4 years I was at college and could not have asked for a better vehicle. Besides normal wear and tear items like tires, breaks, oil changes etc, I did not invest any money into my Celica.....nothing needed fixed. I easily drove approx 20,000 miles per year and never had a doubt that something would break or malfunction....Maybe I was lucky, but I had 110% faith in this car. The body held up extremely well, as did the paint. I kept it waxed, and it kept looking shiny and new. My only complaint is head room...Im 6'3
